Privacy Policy

1. Summary

We collect the minimum data needed to sell and license our software: your email address, order details, and a hardware identifier when you activate. We never sell your data and we never see your card details.

2. Who processes what

  • Paddle.com (Merchant of Record) processes your payment, invoicing and taxes, and is the data controller for payment data (card number, billing address). See Paddle's privacy policy for details.
  • EasyLapse (this site, on Cloudflare) receives your transaction reference and email address to deliver your license key, plus anonymous page analytics via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
  • EasyLapse activation servers store your account email, a salted hash of your device hardware ID, and license/entitlement records. The raw hardware ID is not stored.

3. Purpose & retention

  • Order and license records are kept as long as required for accounting and license support.
  • Device binding data is kept while your license is active so that re-activation checks work.
  • Verification codes and session tokens are short-lived.

4. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. Deletion requests are honored except where records must be retained for legal/accounting purposes (in which case they are anonymized where possible).

5. Security

All traffic is TLS-encrypted. License issuance is verified against payment records before any key is generated; administrative access to order data is restricted and audited.

6. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
